Soybeans

Soybean futures at the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) dropped to three-week lows during the week ended July 19 as mild temperatures are expected across the mid-west US Midwest going forward.

Tim Hannagan, senior grain analyst with Alaron Trading in Chicago, said prices are generally down on soybeans over the last week as they follow U.S. spring wheat and corn futures.

Hannagan said soybeans will move out of the follower's role in the upcoming week as crops in key midwestern states move into the pod-setting stage. "Soybeans will overtake spring wheat and corn futures as the commodity to watch" he said....
