WCE Grain/Oilseed Review: Steady; Canola Mixed In Dull Trade.

Winnipeg Aug 4-RNI, Aug 04, 2006 (Resource News International via COMTEX) -- Winnipeg Commodity Exchange (WCE) grain and oilseed futures closed Friday's session little changed with canola mixed as the lack of demand and weakness in Chicago Board of Trade soyoil futures weighed on prices, brokers said.

The WCE trading session was abbreviated as a technical problem just after the opening on the electronic trading platform, which is operated by the Chicago Board Of Trade, closed the market. The market did not reopen till 12:10 CT.

The shortened session subdued trading although traders had expected volumes to be light Friday due to the upcoming long weekend as the WCE will be closed on Monday...
