SOYBEANS

Soybean futures at the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) closed the week ended September 20 higher, recovering from mid-week lows after technical selling pressure weighed on the market.

November contract soybeans closed the week at US$5.49 1/4 per bushel, compared to US$5.40 1/2 the previous week.

Vic Lespinasse, a broker with AG Edwards and Sons in Chicago, said weather concerns could give some support over the next week.
