CANADIAN JUNIOR HOCKEY INTRODUCING DRUG TESTING

TORONTO - The Canadian Hockey League, responsible for grooming many NHL players, will soon introduce a drug-testing policy.

The CHL and Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport will announce details of the plan during a news conference Wednesday in Calgary.

Players in the Western and Ontario hockey leagues will be subject to drug testing later this season after they are educated about the policy.
