Midday WCE Futures: Canola Up On CBOT Soy Gains.

Winnipeg, Mar 28, 2007 (Resource News International via COMTEX) -- Grain and oilseed futures at the Winnipeg Commodity Exchange (WCE) at midday on Wednesday are mixed with canola rallying in step with the gains in Chicago Board of Trade soy complex futures, brokers said.

Canola trade was light and described as disappointing by traders who noted that exporter buying is below the market while farmer selling has moved above the market and as a result "nobody is doing anything". An estimated 2,926 contracts had traded by midday with intermonth spreading accounting for 838 contracts.
