US Group To Locate 300 Mln Gallon Biofuel Plant In Alberta.

WINNIPEG, MB, Apr 17, 2007 (Resource News International via COMTEX) -- Riverstone Holdings, The Carlyle Group and Dominion Energy Services LLC., have chosen the Town of Innisfail, Alberta as the site for their newest biofuels facility, a release from the New York based Riverstone Holdings said.

The bio refinery will consist of a combined 100 million gallon ethanol plant, a 100 million gallon canola crush facility and a 100 million gallon biodiesel facility.

Carlyle/Riverstone Renewable Energy Infrastructure Fund I, L.P. will own a controlling interest in the facility, with management owning the balance, the release said.
