Winnipeg, MB, Dec 17, 2007 (Resource News International via COMTEX) -- The Canadian dollar showed some considerable strength on Monday, as large buy orders helped the currency gain ground against its US counterpart and most other international currencies.
The Canadian currency closed out the North American session at 99.43 US cents (C$1.0058) on Monday. This compares with Friday's North American close of 98.37 US cents (C$1.0165).
