Canadian Pacific Rail To Challenge CTA Decision.

WINNIPEG, MB, Feb 20, 2008 (Resource News International via COMTEX) -- Canadian Pacific Railway will challenge a recent decision by the Canadian Transportation Agency that adjusted the grain hopper revenue entitlement of the company retroactive to August 1, 2007, a release from CPR said Wednesday.

The company said the adjustment would result in its earning falling by up to 13 Canadian cents a share in 2008.

The CTA announced a volume-related adjustment that translates to a $2.59 per tonne impact on the railway revenue entitlement. The decision is retroactive to August 1, 2007.
