Cdn Govt Invests In Manitoba Livestock Research.

Winnipeg, MB, Feb 22, 2008 (Resource News International via COMTEX) -- Livestock research in Manitoba will receive in-kind support valued at roughly C$5 million through a five year joint effort between the Government of Canada, the Government of Manitoba and the Manitoba Cattle Producers Association (MCPA), according to a news release from the office of federal Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, Gerry Ritz.

The announcement was made at the Agriculture and Agri- Food Canada (AAFC) Research Centre in Brandon, Manitoba.

The tri-party agreement includes in-kind support through the AAFC Brandon Research Centre estimated at C$4 million, C$900,000 worth of in-kind support from the Manitoba Government...
