WINNIPEG, MB, Feb 26, 2008 (Resource News International via COMTEX) -- An estimated 550 head of cattle were sold at the sale held by Winnipeg Livestock Sales Ltd., in Winnipeg, Manitoba on Tuesday, February 26. Included in the sale were 250 slaughter cattle, 125 feeder cattle and 175 bred cows.
Note all prices in Cdn$ per cwt. These prices also generally represent the top one-third of sales reported by the auction yard.

Choice Steers & Heifers: $77.00 - $80.00
Cows, Dry Fed: $47.00 - $52.00
Cows, Good Fleshed: $41.00 - $46.00
Cows, Lean: $23.00 - $40.00
Good Bulls: $40.00 - $61.00
Prices for Feeder Steers
900-1000 lbs: $ 75.00 - $ 82.00 ...
