The D6600 NetCom System combines the features of the D6600 Digital Central Station Receiver/Gateway with the power and advantages available from alarm communications over a data network (specifically, any LAN or WAN compatible with TCP/IP protocol). Alarm panels from Radionics and almost all other panel manufacturers can now send full data messages via both digital dialers and the LAN/WAN to one D6600 Receiver/Gateway.
The Data Network's communications link is supervised continuously, and telephone line communications over the PSTN is built-in as a backup means of communications in case the LAN/WAN connection is lost. Remote programming is over the LAN/WAN with Radionics' 7000/9000 Series panels, or over the PSTN with other panels. Radionics
