Anixter International Inc., Skokie, Ill., and Axis Communications, Chelmsford, Mass., announced a partnership which will make Anixter a distributor of Axis's IP-based security and surveillance equipment.
The partnership will increase Anixter's presence in the security market by adding to its existing line of 3,000 product offerings focused on physical and asset-based security. Axis will leverage Anixter's security expertise, extensive IT customer base, global reach and logistics capabilities to expand its own customer base and provide more innovative, technically advanced networked video systems.
