QUALCOMM Licenses Header Compression Technology from Effnet.

STOCKHOLM, Sweden and SAN DIEGO, August 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Effnet AB (New Market, Stockholm: EFFN) and QUALCOMM Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM) today announced that QUALCOMM has obtained a production license for Effnet's IP Header Compression software. The agreement brings together QUALCOMM's technology leadership and Effnet's unique expertise within IP Header Compression. Under the agreement, QUALCOMM has the right to integrate Effnet's software into select future chipsets for CDMA2000 1xEV-DO and WCDMA (UMTS) products.
