Otis to Supply Energy-Efficient Elevators for Beijing Fortune Plaza Phase 2.

FARMINGTON, Connecticut, August 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Otis Elevator Company has won a contract to install 46 elevators and escalators, featuring the energy-efficient and environmentally friendly Gen2(TM) and Elevonic(R) elevator systems, for the second phase of Beijing Fortune Plaza in China. Otis is a unit of United Technologies Corporation (NYSE: UTX).
Previously, Otis was selected to provide 44 elevators and escalators for the first phase of the project. Otis will provide a total of 90 units for phase one and two with a combined contract award of USD 9 million.
