Aspen Aerogels Appoints Michael O'Connor to Lead New European Sales Operation.

NORTHBOROUGH, Massachusetts, November 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Aspen Aerogels today announced the opening of its first sales office in Europe and the appointment of Michael O'Connor as European Sales Director. The move is part of Aspen's strategy to increase the company's presence and sales of its nanotechnology-enabled insulation products in Europe.
O'Connor will head up a team responsible for sales of the company's insulation solutions across a range of European markets. These include the oil, liquid natural gas (LNG), chemical, apparel, domestic appliances, construction and automotive industries.
He and his team will work out of Aspen's newly-established European sales office in Kehl am Rhein, Germany.
