According to a new study by Aberdeen Group, The Contract Labor Cost Management Benchmark Report, over 50% of the benchmark survey indicated they plan to increase their temporary staffing budget and 12% plan greater than 10% growth.
This continues a trend, over the past few years, of strong global demand for temporary workers particularly in the IT department, which ranks as the top temporary staffing job category. This reflects the trend for full-time employees in the U.S., where Bureau of Labor Statistics data shows IT staffing is now above the 2001 peak.
