According to a new Aberdeen Group research report, 58% of retailers are using business intelligence technology, including advanced analytics, to improve merchandising processes such as advanced planning and replenishment. In addition, over two thirds of retailers that use business intelligence for merchandising indicated that senior executives, including the CEO, are actively engaged in its use within their organization.
