- Outsourcing of Application Development and Maintenance
LogicaCMG, a leading IT services company, today announces that it has been awarded a contract from the Dutch Centre for Work and Income (CWI). This covers the development and maintenance of all applications that are to be built as well as the maintenance of CWI's existing applications. The value of the contract is approximately 30 million Euros.
Set up in 2002, the CWI has always outsourced its IT activities. Initially it had only one supplier, however, in recent years the centre has decided to diversify and outsource to a number of specialised IT suppliers. CWI has opted for LogicaCMG to manage its application maintenance and development.
