BRUSSELS, February 7 /PRNewswire/ -- The European car industry cannot agree with the proposals made by the European Commission today on CO2 emissions from passenger cars. The proposals are unbalanced and damaging to the European economy in terms of wealth, employment and growth potential. The European vehicle manufacturers call on the EU Member States and the European Parliament to take the lead in the current debate and start a broad and fair discussion based on sound facts and figures.
