Companhia Siderurgica Nacional CSN (BOVESPA: CSNA3) (NYSE: SID) announces today its results for the first quarter of 2007 (1Q07), in accordance with Brazilian accounting principles and denominated in Brazilian Reais (R$). All comments presented herein refer to consolidated results and comparisons refer to the first quarter of 2006 (1Q06), unless otherwise stated. On March 30, 2007, the Real/US Dollar exchange rate was R$ 2.0504.
