American Standard Companies Inc. (NYSE: ASD) today announced three more nominees -- Juergen W. Gromer, Kenneth J. Martin and Michael T. Smith -- to the board of directors of WABCO as it becomes a separate, independently traded company by early fall of this year.
WABCO is the US$2 billion vehicle control systems business of American Standard Companies Inc. Founded in 1869 as Westinghouse Air Brake Company, it was acquired in 1968 by American Standard, which announced plans in February to spin it off as a separate company.
