Northrop Grumman Provides Turnkey Solution for Air Traffic Control Operations at Hawler International Airport, Iraq.

Northrop Grumman Corporation's (NYSE: NOC) Europe-based subsidiary, Park Air Systems, will provide a comprehensive air traffic control (ATC) system to Hawler International Airport, in Erbil, Iraq, under Turkish prime contractor Mak-Yol, Inc.
"The US$3.2 million contract will include communication, navigation and meteorological systems," said Charles Houseago, chairman of Northrop Grumman's Park Air Systems. "This is a strategically important contract for Park Air Systems as we enter into this new developing territory. It confirms our position as leaders of ATC solutions."
The new air traffic control building is being fitted with state-of-the-art equipment as part of the expansion of the airport....
