California Micro Devices Establishes India Design Center.

MILPITAS, California, November 27 /PRNewswire/ --

California Micro Devices (Nasdaq: CAMD) today announced that it has established a design center in Chennai, India in a continuing collaboration with GDA Technologies, a strategic ASIC design partner with a presence there. CMD and GDA worked closely together on the physical design of CMD's current display controller product, the CM5100, a serial interface chip with embedded frame buffer memory that is compliant with the Video Electronic Standards Association's (VESA) Mobile Display Device Interface (MDDI) standard. The CM5100 provides a cost effective high speed and low power display interface for advanced mobile handset applications.
