(Nasdaq:PMCS), a leading provider of broadband communications and storage semiconductors, has licensed the high-performance ARM(R) Cortex(tm)-A8 processor and ARM11(tm) MPCore(tm) multicore processor for a broad range of designs, including devices for Passive Optical Networks (PON) and ASIC devices.
