Siemens Move to Generate GBP40m Investment in Lincoln Area.

CAMBERLEY, England, February 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Siemens today revealed a new site in North Hykeham as the proposed location for its industrial gas turbine business, demonstrating a long-term commitment to manufacturing in the area.
The Siemens move will generate GBP40 million of investment over the next three years into the local area. A new state-of-the-art factory and offices will be built over the 27 acre site, including a new access road, parking and facilities. The new factory and offices will be built using environmentally-friendly lighting and sustainable building technologies, to reduce emissions and save energy. The company plans to relocate from its current sites over the next three years. Investment will also be made into the current Ruston Works...
