Global Crossing Announces Next Generation IP Services Deal With HM Revenue & Customs.

Global IP solutions provider Global Crossing (Nasdaq: GLBC) today announced that HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) will employ Global Crossing's hosted IP telephony service for the operation of all its telephony services across the UK, supporting 85,000 users. The service will be provided through an OGCbuying.solutions contract. HMRC staff throughout the UK will gradually migrate to this secure, hosted IP telephony service.
