The planned emissions savings are estimated at 16,000 tons carbon dioxide, 112,000 lbs. nitrous oxides and 246,000 lbs. sulfur dioxide each year, according to EPA's Web site. EPA hopes to serve as an example for other companies hoping to implement clean energy in the future.
