Because of its specifications and guidance documents, we can assure that items, methods, processes, etc., in one part of the world are standardized to like-things in other parts of the environment. In our high-tech environment, the standards serve to further bring us together. ISO speaks to a global audience. It is meant to simplify and make life easier.
