XP Software. (Company News).(Federal Emergency Management Agency contract)(Brief Article)

[check] XP Software, Portland, Ore., has been selected to supply the Federal Emergency Management Agency with its XP-SWMM hydrodynamic modeling software for use in the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP). XP-SWMM traditionally has been used to model or analyze watersheds and collection systems in rural or urban settings.
NFIP acceptance will add additional value for existing clients and further extend the company's market reach into the insurance, floodplain management and government sectors. To further extend XP Software's commitment to floodplain management, the company will host information booths at Environmental and Water Resource conference in Philadelphia, Pa., June 23-26.
