PROJECT OVERVIEW:

A 50:50 joint venture that teams up the local LEIGHTON HOLDINGS and Japan-based KUMAGAI GUMI CO. LTD. is soon expected to be awarded a tunnel construction contract by the Hong Kong government. Construction plans under consideration call for building the Nam Wan tunnel through Tsing Yi in Hong Kong.

The cost to complete the undertaking has been pegged at $500,000,000.
