PROJECT OVERVIEW:
Japan-based KAO CORP. currently operates in Thailand through its local subsidiary KAO INDUSTRIAL (THAILAND) CO. LTD. However, in order to strengthen its production base in Thailand and the ASEAN region as a whole, KAO has now decided to build new plant facilities for the production of consumer and chemical products at its Thai site.
In so doing, the existing production facilities at the plant in Bangkok will be expanded and relocated to the Amata Nakorn industrial estate in the suburbs of Bangkok. The expansion will spread out over approximately 160,000 square meters, representing a roughly threefold increase in the size of the existing plant.
