PROJECT OVERVIEW:

A Sino/Hong Kong joint venture was recently established in view of building a new coal-fired power station in China. The partners in the planned undertaking and their respective shareholdings include KERRY ELECTRICITY JIANGXI LTD, a subsidiary of Hong Kong-based KERRY PROPERTIES LTD. (33%), in conjunction with the local GUODIAN CHANGYUAN ELECTRIC POWER CO. LTD., CHINA GUODIAN CORP. and YUGAN CITY DEVELOPMENT CO. LTD. that will hold the balance of the equity.
