PROJECT OVERVIEW

The local state-owned PETROLEOS MEXICANOS (PEMEX) considers that the most important factor in the increase of its reserve replacement is the construction of the infrastructure for the development of Ku-Maloob-Zaap, Crudo Ligero Marino and Chicontepec. These fields are expected to allow a reclassification of probable and possible reserves to proved reserves, which is in accordance with Securities and Exchange Commission definitions.

PEMEX currently produces 3.4 million barrels per day (b/d) of crude oil and 4.7 billion cubic feet per day (cf/d) of natural gas.
