OAKLAND, Calif., Sept. 15 (AScribe Newswire) -- David Brin, Brad Meltzer, and Chris Offutt have joined Michael Chabon and 16 of America's most prominent authors, to raise money for the First Amendment Project (FAP) through eBay Giving Works, the dedicated program for charity listings. The auction, which started on Sept. 8 and runs through Sept. 26, 2005, has already generated almost 40k in combined bidding from the first group of authors.
