Thunderbird Receives $1 Million From Phoenix Real Estate Developer; Pivotal Group CEO Francis Najafi Targets Gift as Investment in Corporate Learning.

GLENDALE, Ariz., Sept. 25 (AScribe Newswire) -- Thunderbird alumnus and successful Valley Real Estate developer Francis Najafi has donated $1 million to his alma mater in an effort that ultimately could generate in excess of $8 million in revenue for the school.
Najafi, who graduated from Thunderbird in 1977, is the chief executive of Phoenix-based Pivotal Group, which has a real estate portfolio in excess of $1 billion. His interests also include Network Solutions, one of the world's largest Internet domain-name registries.
