Ford Plans to Introduce Two-Seater EV.(Brief Article)

The Ford Motor Company announced plans to forge ahead with its innovative two-seater electric car, called Th!nk, by implementing the manufacturing operations for the vehicle in Europe. The car will initially be sold in Scandinavia and will eventually become available in western European markets. Marketing the vehicle in the U.S. is still being considered.

Th!nk represents Ford's latest foray into alternative fuels and new power technology. The company already claims to be the largest manufacturer of cars powered by liquefied petroleum gas, and is currently developing fuel cell technology with DaimlerChrysler.

Ford's move follows the launch of DaimlerChrysler's two-seater Smart model which is expected to sell about 80,000 cars this year.
