DOE Awards Penn State $1.3 Million.(Brief Article)

U.S. Congressman John Peterson, recently honored by the National Hydrogen Association for his support of the gas as an alternative fuel source, is being credited for a $1.3 million hydrogen research project between Pennsylvania State University, Department of Energy (DOE), and two private research and development companies.

"I see enormous potential for hydrogen as [a] future source of clean, affordable energy for nearly aspect for our lives," said Peterson. "But we must boost our efforts toward research and development to make it a reality. I am proud and pleased that Penn State has the facilities and expertise to carry out this project."
