Reviewer Enjoys Performance of Altra EV.(Brief Article)

A recent review of Nissan's Altra EV electric vehicle (EV) in the Washington Times said the vehicle "zipped right along in [Los Angeles] freeway traffic, feeling right at home at the 75 [miles per hour] (mph) average speed." The reviewer said the only downside to the Altra EV was that after 30 miles of highway driving, the car only had half of its charge left. Fortunately, by operating the vehicle at more moderate speeds, the charger-state gauge "barely moved," due in part to the vehicle's regenerative braking.
