Intelligent Optical Systems, Inc. (IOS) recently announced it has been selected by Ford Motor Company to develop the hydrogen-sensing system for Ford's fuel cell vehicle program. IOS is a private research and development company specializing in the design and development of proprietary optical communications and signal-processing technologies.
"Ford is a world leader in the development of the next generation of efficient, environmentally friendly fuel cell technologies," said IOS president and CEO Reuben Sandler. "We are honored that IOS was selected to develop the advanced hydrogen-sensing system for Ford's fuel cell vehicle from a highly competitive field of companies anxious to participate in this prestigious program."
