Capstone Receives Financial Times Energy Award.(Brief Article)

Financial Times Energy (FT Energy), a news source for the energy industry, recently awarded Capstone Turbine Corporation with the "Most Innovative Commercial Technology Development Award" for its line of microturbine power systems.
Capstone's microturbine systems can generate heat and electricity from a number of sources, including methane, natural gas, landfill gas, as well as unprocessed oilfield flare gas. The turbines, which operate on a single moving assembly, do not use oil or coolants and emit nominal amounts of nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions.
Capstone president and CEO Ake Algren accepted the award at the second annual FT Energy Global awards ceremony, which was sponsored by Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu. According to Algren, the microturbine was...
