DOE Issues Supplement to Hydrogen Solicitation.(Department of Energy)(Brief Article)

The Department of Energy's (DOE) Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) has issued a supplemental announcement to its EERE FY 01 Broad Based Solicitation for Submission of Financial Assistance Applications Involving Research, Development and Demonstration.
The original announcement (DE-PS36-01GO90000), issued under EERE's Hydrogen Program, was dated November 27. DOE is seeking proposals under the supplemental announcement that are designed to advance and demonstrate fuel cell technology for mobile, underground mining vehicles.
The agency expects to select one proposal for funding under the supplemental announcement. The award has a minimum 50-percent cost-sharing requirement, and will be carried out under a cooperative agreement...
