PowerQwest Launches Eco-Electric Scooters.(Brief Article)(Product Announcement)

PowerQwest, Inc. recently announced that it is planning to launch a new eco-electric product line. The company, which currently specializes in the manufacturing of electronic accessories and cordless electric yard tools with core competencies in efficient zero-emission power conversion, said that it is planning to launch a line of three electric scooters by the end of the year.

As the first product in the new line, PowerQwest said that the Wicked Wave scooter will be a stand-up electric scooter powered by PowerQwest's Power-Core 24-volt drive system. According to PowerQwest, when the scooter is fully charged, it will be able to generate enough power to carry a 175-pound passenger at speeds of up to 14 miles per hour for as long as an hour.
