Nissan and Renault to Develop New FCVs.(Brief Article)

Nissan Motor Company and Renault recently announced that they will develop a fuel cell vehicle (FCV) that runs on conventional gasoline. The companies said that like all FCVs their vehicle will emit only water and heat exhaust.
Nissan said that it has opted to develop a gasoline-powered FCV because it believes that this technology will become the American standard.
Earlier this year General Motors and Toyota announced that they would join ExxonMobil in an alliance to develop gasoline as a fuel source for FCVs. Nissan said that its model will be similar to that developed by other major companies.
According to Japanese newspaper reports, Nissan and Renault will spend 85 billion yen (about $714 million) on the project, and could begin...
