ACEEE Ranks Insight at Top in Green Book.(Brief Article)

The American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE) recently named the Honda Insight as "the year's greenest vehicle" in the group's publication, titled "Green Book: The Environmental Guide to Cars and Trucks."

ACEEE said that Honda's advanced continuously variable transmission (CVT) version of the Insight made it number one for all model year 2001 vehicles.

"Honda has one-upped itself with the release of the CVT Insight," said ACEEE Green Book co-author and GreenerCars.com website manager Jim Kliesch.
