USCAR Official Testifies at DOE Hearing.(US Council for Automotive Research)(Department of Energy)(Brief Article)

An official from the U.S. Council for Automotive Research (USCAR) recently testified at a hearing of the Department of Energy's (DOE) Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy that the Partnership for a New Generation of Vehicles (PNGV) can be "an integral part of a national energy policy that promotes energy efficiency and new sources of energy to sustain the personal mobility of all Americans." USCAR said that the partnership is helping to provide answers to such societal concerns as energy supplies, the cost of fuel, air quality and fuel efficiency.
