ICC Joins TI on Rechargeable Battery Technology.(International Components Corp., Texas Instruments Inc.)(Brief Article)

International Components Corporation (ICC) recently announced that it has joined with Texas Instruments (TI) to develop and manufacture battery management solutions for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) of rechargeable products.
ICC said its product line is focused on three main areas: fuel gauges that inform users of the charge status of battery packs; charge control modules that are coupled with power supplies to create "complete charging solutions;" and safety circuits that protect lithium-ion battery packs from charge abuse.
