Delphi Corporation's Dynamics and Propulsion Innovation Center recently announced its Energenix Group has completed work on a development project with the Department of Energy's National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) to create co-simulation software that allows automotive engineers to model vehicle propulsion and electrical systems simultaneously.

The new software combines the propulsion system simulation found in NREL's ADVISOR software with SABER software, an electrical system analysis tool used by many original equipment manufacturers (OEMS).
