NYSEG to Evaluate Segway Human Transporter.(New York State Electric and Gas Corporation )(Brief Article)

Electric scooter manufacturer Segway recently announced that the New York State Electric and Gas Corporation (NYSEG) plans to incorporate the company's electric-powered Human Transporter (HT) into its daily operations, including meter reading and natural gas line inspections, to evaluate the effectiveness of the device.
"We are excited to be working with NYSEG to demonstrate how our product can have serious productivity gains on its business," said Segway founder and CEO Dean Kamen. "The Segway HT will allow operators from the utility industry to carry more, go farther and get to their destinations more quickly."
