ACS to Sponsor Fuel Cell Conference in CA.(American Chemical Society)(Brief Article)

The American Chemical Society's (ACS) Division of Polymer Chemistry will host a four-day conference on materials for proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cells February 23 through 26 at the Asilomar Conference Grounds in Pacific Grove, CA. ACS said the conference, titled "Advances in Materials for Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell Systems," will be co-chaired by Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) professor James McGrath and Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) professor Tom Zawodzinski.

The conference will open with a "plenary lecture session" hosted by McGrath, followed by presentations from Department of Energy official JoAnn Milliken and MTI MicroFuel Cell official Shimshon Gottesfeld.
