Flexcar Adds 10 Honda Civic HEVs to D.C. Fleet.(hybrid electric vehicles added to Flexcar's Washington, D.C. car-sharing program)(Brief Article)

Flexcar recently announced it has reached an agreement with the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (Metro), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments to add 10 new Honda Civic hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) to its car-sharing program's fleet of vehicles in the metropolitan area of Washington, D.C.
Flexcar said it's D.C. area operations serve more than 1,700 members with more than 40 vehicles at or near almost 30 Metro stations. According to the company, the new HEVs will complement its existing D.C. fleet of all-electric vehicles, sedans and "specialty vehicles."
Under the Flexcar program, members pay a basic fee for gas, insurance, "premium" parking and 24-hour emergency assistance...
